Wave Design Group, along with partners Tri-Cities Insurance Professionals, are excited to announce our selection of David Lopez Vasquez to paint our elevator shaft inside the gallery area of our new Pasco offices. We kicked off our local graffiti search in November and received some amazing submissions. David completely blew our minds away and understood our vision to include cutting edge art, music and architecture. We can’t wait to see his final design on our walls in early 2022 and share with our community.
David Lopez Vasquez (a.k.a. David V35) is a self-taught, freelance surrealist artist with contemporary tendencies. David was raised in Colima, Mexico, making the Tri-Cities, Washington his home and Pacific Northwest travels his inspiration. Painting became a focus of David at a young age, eight, launching his 17-year career as a professional artist. After graduating from Ephrata High School, he left everything behind to pursue his life as an artist and has gone onto found the New Art Order (brand project), been involved in group shows (RAW Artists Network) and individual shows, collaborated with local businesses, been featured in publications (Art Chowder Magazine, Tumbleweird) besides receiving awards for his work.
Wave Design Group is invested in supporting our local artists and building a thriving artist community in the Tri-Cities. Our purpose in launching a local graffiti search was intended not only to have our new Pasco office location stand out and reflect our passions, but to encourage artist resources and platforms in our area.
