aMOTIF is the third company in under the Wave Companies umbrella – the premiere Architectural, Engineering and Interior Design firm in the Pacific Northwest. Over the years, we have specified many interesting finishes, furniture and fixtures on the interior and exterior of buildings, but unfortunately due to inaccessibility to these elements in our area these items would be the thing to be removed from the design once construction is under way. We saw a niche market that would help usher our clients dream designs into fruition.
aMOTIF specializes in the sale Unique Architectural Elements most of the products we represent are not available anywhere else in Eastern Washington and in many cases, the Pacific Northwest.

Meet Katelyn
INTERIOR DESIGNER
Canadian born and raised, Katelyn has always had a love for design, art, travel and all things hockey of course. Her worldly experiences drive her inspiration and have paved their way into her design philosophy. She has a distinct eye for detail and color that is enviable. Her signature style is fresh and timeless.
Being a creative visionary, her innovative and forward-thinking approach fuels her passion to explore new design ideas. Continuously discovering ways to deliver the unexpected, Katelyn enjoys shaping spaces, molding environments to life and forming something memorable.
From conceptual mood boards, renderings, material and ff+e selections to detailed drawings, Katelyn believes in providing a positive client experience. With eight years in the industry under her belt, she’s skilled in revealing the potential of each project and presenting measurable end products with confidence in the quality and technical precision.
Her determination and practical knowledge are backed by her Interior Design Diploma of Technology, and Management Certificate of Interior Design, both completed at BCIT.
In her free time, Katelyn can be found either hiking with her Chesapeake Bay Retriever pup, Riggs, or doing yoga.
